Shortly after I made it, I started getting requests from friends and family for me to make similar bracelets for them...then matching earrings...then a watch. I then started making jewelry to match every outfit I owned and even more requests came in for similar pieces. Before I knew it, I was doing home shows and craft fairs. A business had been born!
On my worktable right now is a great deal of wireworking and combining artisan lampwork beads in my work. Recently I began making my own beads and pendants using polymer clay. I am also in the process of designing a complete line of rosaries and hope to have both the rosaries and the polymer pendants up on the website soon.
My husband Brad has always supported me in what I do and I have been lucky enough to stay at home with my 3 children: Thomas, Jonathan & Elizabeth. Most of my work is done during naptimes and in the evening after everyone has gone to bed. It is not unusual to find me still up at 2:00am in my studio. As I always joke - It's cheaper than therapy!
When I'm not creating jewelry, I enjoy cooking, scrapbooking and playing with my children.
